I contacted customer services as I didn't quite understand the defect photographs – they were really helpful and explained the small defects, took extra photos and sent them to me, and I was happy to buy those rugs in confidence. They arrived a day early and are great. I have no idea if they are actually genuine or not (and I'm not really sure what that would mean anyway, just made in one country rather than another? or the technique, or materials?) but it doesn't matter as they are beautiful and just what I wanted!! Very importantly I think the colour was accurate on the website as to the real thing. Very hard to get colours representative but these ones definitely were.

Always wanted to own a couple of carpets from Iran and after seeing some in Muscat Oman (very costly) decided to search out some from the web. What a good company CarpetU2 is. Many companies in the UK could learn a lesson about service from this Greek company. The quality of the carpets is outstanding and everything that is shown on the web site is just what you get. I will be ordering more in the future as I want to use them in my French home, I am sure they will make a great conversation point with my French friends.

I was somewhat apprehensive about purchasing a rug from thousands of miles away without seeing it first. I need not have worried. The website description of my rugs was totally accurate, and two beautiful jewel-like rugs arrived and are now enhancing my home. The payment was safe with Paypal. I was kept completely up to date about their journey from Greece to Cambridgeshire UK from start to finish and they arrived swiftly and safely at the predicted time and date. Hi, I must say I was sceptical about buying a Persian rug/s from a website having recently bought from a major store. However the many comments from other buyers helped change my mind and the prices are excellent. I am very glad I did buy from carpet U2 as the rugs are Gorgeous. As soon as we rolled them out you could instantly see how good they were! Just one problem as the smaller rug had about 10 staples in it (no doubt there would of been some labels or receipts attached). I had to open them with my fingers and tease them out from the rug, fortunately there was no damage at all and all is well. I have no hesitation in recommending this site to anyone and I\'m already looking for my next rug.
